For over 15 months the Riveria Hotel at Bowleaze Cove, Weymouth has been closed to the general public. The Hotel will reopen in March 2012 following a £4 million refurbishment. This week the hotel will be hosting two Recruitment Days on 2nd and 3rd February at the Spyglass, Bowleaze 10 – 6pm

The hotel will employ over 90 members of staff at the peak of the Summer season and General Manager Kevin Bungay has some interesting plans on how to recruit the perfect team for the Riviera Hotel. Mr Bungay said “ This week we are hosting two recruitment days at the Spyglass, Bowleaze from 10am – 6pm on Thursday and Friday . The Riviera is looking for local talent and the recruitment process will include a “staff audition” each applicant will have the opportunity to share their appropriate talents and really let their personality shine through. The intial response has been overwhelming with over 450 applications in the first week. The hotel will be recruiting Chefs, kitchen staff, baristas, service staff, porters, and housekeeping staff. I am also on the look out for excellent entertainments staff, as keeping our guests happy and entertained is one of our top priorities”

The Riviera Hotel will reopen with new facilities including the brand new “Bowleaze Restaurant” which can seat up to 200 people. The Restaurant will serve fresh, first class quality local produce at affordable prices to both residents and the general public. All 98 bedrooms have been completely renovated and refurbished with new ensuite bathrooms, plasma screen TVs, handpainted canvases and exclusive furnishings in stylish surroundings. The Leisure suite will reopen with a 14 metre indoor swimming pool plus the large heated outside 40m pool overlooking Weymouth Bay. The Poolside sun terrace and sun loungers will also be available during the summer months. The multi gym will also reopen with first class gym equipment, work out suite, and fitness instructors on hand. The Hotel also has a Sauna, steam room and Solarium. Memberships will be available for guests and members of the public.
